Pastor Randall and Marie Newman came as Pastor of Beacon of Hope Church of God the first Sunday in February 1988.

Both attended Troy State University in Alabama, with Randall receiving his bachelors degree in 1975.  He received his master's degree from the Church of God Theological Seminary in June 2002.

Pastor Newman was called into the ministry in 1971. He began his ministry as Minister of Music. He also served as Associate Pastor, Minister of Christian Education and was district Youth Director for several years.

He and Marie evangelized by holding Kids Krusades through-out the state of Alabama for approximately 10 years.

They started a new church in Montgomery, then served as Associate Pastors prior to pastoring Beacon of Hope Church of God.

They have 2 sons.  Doug and Tony.  Doug & Jessica have made them the proud grandparents of Douglas, Dustin, Madison and Kristen.

Marie is active in the Women's Ministries.  She also coordinates the Jr. Bible Quiz Team and the Missionette girls program.  They are always ready to minister and you can call them whenever you need them.
