Pastor Ashley and Michelle Thompson are excited to be serving as youth pastors of Beacon of Hope Church of God.

Ashley graduated from Georgia State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in 1995.  Michelle graduated from Georgetown College, where she received her bachelor’s degree in 1996.  In 2005, Ashley and Michelle both earned their Master’s of Divinity degrees from the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries, a Church of God seminary in Manila, Philippines.

Ashley and Michelle began their ministry with Master’s Commission in Atlanta, GA.  They were proud to be part of the ministry at Master’s Commission for five years.  In June of 2002, they moved to the Philippines to work as missionaries and study at the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries.  While in the Philippines, they served in Sidewalk Sunday School and a campus ministry to college students in Las Pinas.  After three years, Ashley and Michelle returned to the United States.   

Ashley and Michelle were married in June of 2000 and have been involved in full-time ministry together ever since.  They are passionate about reaching and discipling young people.

Michelle is also the Church Secretary.
